Led by an Aboriginal guide, the 1.5-hour Dabee Walk offers an immersive journey through the history, stories and living culture of the Dabee Wiradjuri people. The people of the Kandos, Rylstone and Capertee Valley region. Along the way, you'll discover cultural artefacts, hear the Wiradjuri language spoken, and learn about the native plants, animals, food and medicines found throughout the landscape. As you explore the beautiful surrounds of Wollemi National Park, keep an eye out for parrots, kangaroos, goannas, wombats and other native wildlife that call this Country home. This is an easy guided walk with minimal fitness required. Please note that the experience follows natural dirt paths and is not wheelchair accessible.
