About This Attraction

A self-guided tour which you can walk, drive or bike, maps available from Cooma Visitor Information Centre. Located within Cooma, this five kilometre walk passes through residential and natural areas of scenic and historic interest and was designed and constructed by the Goulburn Lands Office in 1985 and named for Commissioner of Lands, John Lambie With three Heritage Areas recognised by the National Trust there are several points of interest to see along the walk including; Centennial Park, Solomon's Store, Cooma Courthouse, Cooma Gaol, Lambie Residential District, Southern Cloud Memorial Park, St. Paul's Church, St. Patrick's Church. There is also the Lambie Bush Reserve, which will take an additional two hours to complete and takes you through some of the surrounding bushland and walk to the Lambie Gorge, originally an Aboriginal Womens site.
