DATES & PRICES: For most weeks this website only lets us enter valid prices for 2nights arrive Friday or 5nights arrive Sunday. For other stays please click on "Ask Manager a Question" and we at Ski Kaos will get back to you with accurate prices.
PRICING NOTE: HomeAway have added roughly 10% to Ski Kaos' normal prices. Their system removes contact details from messages we send to each other via this website. They don't want us communicating efficiently unless you book & pay first.
THREDBO DISCOUNTS: We offer discounts on Thredbo lift passes, lift+lessons passes and children's programs. Our prices are better than any discounts on the Thredbo website or by using a myThrebdo card.
HIRE DISCOUNTS: We offer discounts on ski/snowboard hire and clothing hire.
BUS TRAVEL: On select dates during the snow season we also offer Sydney to Thredbo return bus travel (via Jindabyne & Skitube), please ask for details if interested or lookup Ski Kaos on line.
ABOUT THIS PROPERTY: This spacious 1 Bedroom flat with Sauna represents great value for money. Located in the middle of Thredbo Village, an easy level walk to the ski lifts, bus stop, shops, bars & restaurants
LOCATION: Central Thredbo Village.
FACILITIES: The flat features underfloor heating, a bathroom with separate toilet and a sauna. The new kitchenette includes a fridge, dishwasher, sink, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and a rice cooker. There are plenty of plates, pans, cutlery & cookware. There are no laundry facillities or drying room per-se, however, the 'annex area' off the main room is a great place to dry wet ski clothes and it has a dehumidifier which does a neat job. This is a budget property but well maintained and very functional. There are 2 TVs, a DVD/CD.
BEDS & BEDROOMS: Bedroom: Queen bed + Single bed; Living Room: Fold out sofa bed.
NOTE: Made up beds & towels is not always included & may cost extra if you do not wish to BYO – please check with us. If its BYO then it means 2 sheets per bed, a pillowcase and towel each, bathmat(s) and tea towels. We always provide doonas, pillows, mattress protectors.
PARKING: There is no onsite parking.
EXTRA PARKING: Extra cars can be parked in Thredbo's huge long term carparks. You can unload at the property then move your car(s). You can get the free shuttle bus back (the carpark is only 200 metres away from where you are staying). Few people ever need to use their car once they have arrived.
SECURITY BOND: Before check in we require a $500 security bond - this is usually a credit card pre-authorisation (not a charge). Its possible to do this via HomeAway(Stayz) but they will charge your card and then later refund it which is not the right way to do it.
